St Columb Major is a town and civil parish in Cornwall often referred to locally as St Columb, it is approximately seven miles South West of Wadebridge and six miles east of Newquay situated on the A39. The designation Major distinguishes it from the nearby settlement and parish of St Columb Minor on the coast. The village provides shops and other amenities to the local area, and has some fine old houses and its pub, the Ring O'Bells, offers a range of ales as well as food in its restaurant. Meadow Farm Timber Lodges is conveniently located close to 4 very popular beaches of Watergate Bay, Mawgan Porth, Whipsiderry and Porth. The nearest large town is Newquay which is 10 miles distance and not only provides everything you could possibly need with regards to facilities and amenities it also has its world famous surfers paradise Fistral beach.

Proceed on the A39 towards Cornwall by-passing Bude and then continue through Camelford and then before reaching Wadebridge take the turning right on this roundabout sign posted to the Royal Cornwall Show Ground, continue on the A39 for approximately another 7 miles going through one more roundabout and then the Birds of Prey centre will be seen on your right hand side clearly displayed.
